Plastic Surgery is the talk of the town but does it actually improve the way a person looks?
It is a fact that everyone is aging - and depending on where you are in life, if you are lucky enough, you will continue to age. Aging for women is almost a taboo - men become sexier and women become mutton.
Well many women are just not accepting this old adage as the outcome for the rest of their lives. Many celebrities are now refusing to age, Demi Moore, Courtney Cox, and Madge. With an onslaught of new and affordable procedures is plastic surgery also common place for us non celebrities. Will there become a social divide? Plastic Surgery - those who do and those who don't.
In chatting with a girlfriend last week she asked if I was going to get plastic surgery and although I try and avoid all medical procedures at all costs my biggest fear of even considering plastic surgery is ending up looking worse and not better.
Another friend has recently had something done to her lips. Now I don't know what it is but it looks quite frightening and not right.
I am certainly into self improvement and I want to continue to love being in my skin as I get older and am quite determined not to carry on teenage self hatred into my 40's and 50's, who needs that.

Society pins up these role models with looks and bodies which are likely to be attainable for many of us - so we thought we would try and find gorgeous women who are aging gracefully without surgery.
I want us to challenge the perception of beautiful and to find the beauty in each of us.
