As a fair-skinned type with some pigment discoloration, it was very exciting to stumble across a range of products called ‘Invisible Zinc’.

Invisible Zinc Review - by Deb

My fave product – the light daywear cream, consists of a 3-in-1 moisturiser, zinc sunscreen and sheer foundation in the one product.

Apart from the need to protect my skin from the ravages of the sun (with up to 70% of ageing attributed to exposure to UVA, not to mention skin cancer), I was also looking for a product with good coverage.

This is it.

The best thing about this product and what I think sets it apart from everything else on the market is that this is the ideal product for outdoor activities.  Whether you are into sports or just an all day music festival, this stuff stays on with excellent coverage and doesn’t sweat off with the heat of the midday sun.  In fact, I managed a 10km hike during the middle of the day using this stuff and not only did it not sweat off, I looked great all day without looking like I was wearing makeup!

The light daywear retails for around $35 – I picked it up from DJ’s but you can also get it at Myer, Priceline and selected chemists (also available on-line for the lazy shopper).
