Yes it is that time again when daylight savings changes in NSW. This year it falls over the Easter Weekend - so don't forget to turn your click back on Sunday!

April 4th - at 3am - Turn the Clocks BACK one hour!

What do you need to do?

  • Change clocks at home

  • Check computer clocks

  • Change the clock on the microwave

  • Change the clock in the car

  • Adjust your watch

  • Adjust your children's watch and your grandparents

  • Change the watches you keep in your drawer

  • Change the work office

  • Check Outlook for any meetings that may be affected

  • Check alarms or other systems that have dates

  • Check TV recorders

Queensland and the Northern Territory do not participate in Daylight Saving.

From 2008 the ACT, NSW, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania will all start daylight savings on the first Sunday in October and end on the first Sunday in April. This will result in an extra month of daylight saving for the ACT and introduces common start and finish dates in these states. The Daylight Saving Trial in Western Australia has now ended, and any extension of Daylight Saving was rejected by  2009 referendum.
