Leg Warmers - Why did these ever go out of fashion? As an ex dancer I have truly missed leg warmers. Now in Winter 2010 I have rediscovered the joy of leg warmers which are completely socially acceptable in my Yoga Classes. Yah!
Leg Warmers came in all different colours and sizes in teh 1980's and YES we did wear them over our jeans and as a fashion statement.
I started noticing my yoga teacher was wearing leg warmers with stirrups - so you can wear them over your feet and still do your downward dog without slipping.
The stirrup leg warmers I purchased were from Bloch Dancewear shop at Warringah Mall - they only came in black and grey and were $14.95 AUD.
I predict that we will see more leg warmers over the coming years if some of the fashion shots I found online are anything to go by.
