Daylight Saving Ends
Sunday 3 April 2011, at 3:00 am summer time when clocks are put back one hour.
Queensland and the Northern Territory do not participate in Daylight Saving.
From 2008 the ACT, NSW, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania will all start daylight savings on the first Sunday in October and end on the first Sunday in April. This will result in an extra month of daylight saving for the ACT and introduces common start and finish dates in these states. The Daylight Saving Trial in Western Australia has now ended, and any extension of Daylight Saving was rejected by 2009 referendum.

why cant we be normal and let things alone if you want to play alnight do it others would just like to be an ordinary day without the hang ups of time change..

I would have preferred it to finish sooner. Its too dark in the mornings to go for a walk or bike ride. I'm not into daylight saving any more and find it a nuisance and disruptive. Will be glad when we go back on normal time.

Love the concept....but am now glad it's over. Would love it to start earlier in Summer...longer balmier nights but needs to finish by now. The nights are cooler and we're inside anyway....Maybe late October to mid March...
